WB Aluminum Floor Hatches and Doors are rugged, flush access doors designed for new or existing openings in both interior and exterior applications including sidewalks, commercial floors, residential floors and utility floors. Featuring heavy-duty, 1/4″ reinforced aluminum covers and extruded aluminum frames, both with a mill finish, these hatches are an economical solution wherever floor access is needed. In addition, they are reinforced for pedestrian traffic and can safely handle 300 psf loading.
The WB FD 8500 Series Fire-Rated Floor Hatch and WB FD-P 8550 Series Recessed Fire-Rated Floor Hatch for Concrete or Tile incorporate the latest fire-resistant technology to protect floors above from fire below. Featuring a heavy-duty, 1/4″ reinforced aluminum cover and an aluminum/stainless steel thermal-break frame both with a mill finish, these hatches are Warnock-Hersey tested for a 2 hour fire rating. In addition, they are reinforced for pedestrian traffic and can safely handle 150 psf loading.
